Good points. I'd actually prefer it if Renard stayed "evil." Just having him being cool and calculating and weighing his options forever would be sort of boring. If there was another Royal involved in BC, would it be more logical for them to tell Renard or keep it a secret? Maybe one of his motivations for gaining

He could go back to being ambiguous and calculating though. He could take credit for skewering Bonaparte on his own (and might even believe it: he didn't get that Diana was manipulating him and Adalind earlier), and in the moral universe of Grimm, I think that would mostly reset his clock with Nick et al., depending

That's an excellent point about Adalind's de-hexification. Only thing is, I'm not %100 sure the writers remembered it!

I would be fine if next season was the last. It's been entertaining, but how much more is there to explore? Maybe a 13-episode run would force the writers to skip the deadly boring procedural stories and go all in on the mythology?

I think it's been 80 years since the first nuclear holocaust? (So hypothetically there could still be some people alive in their mid to high nineties who clearly remember the pre-holocaust world). However, we really don't what the Commander attrition rate is. Depending on how fast they get killed off, it could be

I think Banshee faced a lot of challenges this year… Reduced budget, shorter episode order, the premise starting to wear a little thin, the leading man not up for the punishing stunt work that was one of the show's biggest draws. All of the above made it harder to pull off the usual game plan: introduce a bunch of

Sugar's pontificating really suffered from coming on the heels of Job's "suck my tit!" I feel like maybe that speech was the show's way of apologizing to Frankie Faison for demoting him to guest star status as part of the Season 4 budget cutting.

Gigantic upvote for "Beast Mode Waylon Smithers." Beautiful call.

I wondered if maybe the dolls were supposed to suggest that Burton occasionally brought little girls down there to murder them.

Agreed. That means that the Lexa that we saw in the finale was not the "real" Lexa, but the aspect of her personality that's preserved in the Flame AI. What I'm suggesting is that it would be an interesting plot point if future Commanders were able to access the personalities of previous Commanders via the Flame and

So, would you recommend FTWD as a show, overall?

I'm the opposite. I wish the seasons were shorter so that the writers would be forced to tighten up their storytelling. Unrelated to episode count, I just wish they were better at writing their characters. I'm a fan of character moments, but I just don't believe that the current creative team is very good at them.

I guess this means I shouldn't bother with FTWD?

Continuum had the potential to be a MUCH better show than The 100. The characters and concepts were far better, but there was some flabby writing, uneven dialogue, and then the end game got rushed due to early cancellation. Still well worth a watch for any fan of sf adventure.

More likely, she'll scream in frustration and slam her fist against the wall.

'Tis only a scratch!
…I'LL BITE YOUR LEGS OFF!!!

It's not just you. Even though it's justified by the events of the story, Octavia's near-constant anger makes here a tiresome character. And I think the writers went out of their way to make it clear that her attempted and then successful sneak-attack murder of Pike (even after he saved her life) crossed the line. It

That was my first thought as well.

It's not clear at all to me that chip Lexa sacrificed herself or went out in a blaze of glory. Presumably, some aspect of her, and of all the previous Commanders dating back to Becca, are preserved in the "Flame," ready to manifest themselves to the next Commander (or possibly even speak through her?). There could be
