Just the fact that we're not sure is a good sign.

BBC Life on Mars is super entertaining, mostly on the strength of great, engaging performances from a slew of actors, plus the awesome soundtrack and recreated 70's styles. I thought the resolution was kind of a letdown, but it's a great ride. I don't watch a lot of cop shows, but I can recommend LOM without

He couldn't hit jack!

I stand corrected. I'm out of the Darko loop. (In the Darko?)

It's always useful to cultivate a pleasant, non-rapist demeanor.

Andrei Tarkovsky:
At least they have a comment section for United States of Tara. There's no "Andrei Rublev" comment section at all. What's up with that?

Remember how Smoke Monster/MiB said he had a crazy mother? Libby was his mother! His full name is actually MiBby.

According to Wikipedia: Henry Ian Cusick Chavez (born in Peru!) played Jesus in a 2003 film called "The Gospel of John." Talk about "see you in another life"…

My favorite Eloise is young Daniel-threatening-but-not-actually-shooting Eloise (AKA Ellie). She was smoking hot. Maybe some temporal fluke could dump old, omniscient Eloise's consciousness into that body for the rest of the series.

Frank tells what WON'T happen in the future, e.g. going to Guam.

Matt Damon: When Jack decided to blow up the bomb for another chance with Kate I thought, "Whatever. Jack would do something selfish like that."

Speaking of the cougar…
Maybe 24 should just shift gears, go extra-ultra-over-the-top a la Crank 2, and have the cougar be the big bad this season. It would tie up a seemingly random subplot in much the same way that having Dana be the mole did for her subplot. And how sweet would it be for Jack to get dragged into

Agreed that they did awesome work filming Sackhoff's face in that scene.

I'm going to pile on with the overwhelming majority here, and say that this episode was quite entertaining and well above the standard for the rest of the season.

If Demetri doesn't get killed, it's going to be super awkward explaining to his girlfriend/wife why Janis's baby looks Korean.

The wall of pennies was pretty good - a nicely odd touch but didn't feel like the writers were trying too hard.

Demetri/Janis
Todd, I also enjoyed the Demetri/Janis scene, and that plus some Somali warlord action/suspense made this a solid B+ for me.

Maybe their captors forced them to remove all of their clothing (except for highly identifiable necklaces) before killing them.

re: Somali bad guy. Well put. In real life, maybe… but in a TV show, you don't get to go from being a casual murderer to a global peacemaker. I did appreciate that they gave him a huge scar just to make sure that we got that he was the goatherding kid from an earlier episode (in case we missed the part where we see a

Don't get all the love for the super-boring suicide doc episode. His dream lover is extremely pretty, though. They could take this story somewhere mildly interesting by having both characters realize that other real-life relationships are more important than some faith-based trust in their flashforward visions. And
