It's certainly the whiniest generation. If, as I suspect, Sorkin was just setting up Daniel's character to be surprised by how great the young team were, then he really misjudged the fragile self-confidence of the youngest segment of the audience.

Sorkin screwed up with the opening speech by Daniels criticizing the young. I think it was just setting up the end of the episode where the young team kicks ass. But he didn't account for millennial hipsters being so whiney.
