The Robot Wants series
are fantastic Metroidvania games. All the fun of starting out weak and gradually becoming ridiculously powerful, but over just an hour or so of gameplay instead of several hours.

O HAI
DOGGY!
Oh, Dr Handsome, won't you ever be murdered?
I said "jew"!
No shit?
That Robert Wexler interview
had me in tears laughing. I had forgotten how great it was. Thanks, AV Club! You're all right by me.
I see you're starting the collection from your own pocket, Neckbeard.
Juanito, I did something very similar to you, but AFTER the movie ended. As we were walking out of the packed theatre, I said a little too loudly, (indirect SPOILER) "I hear you find out if the top falls over if you stay past the credits!" I didn't turn around to see if anyone sat back down and watched the credits,…
Dickler IS Diggler IN Boogie Nights 2: Hipster Douche-a-loo.
Okay, so I actually am watching NewsRadio for the first time, and that episode made me cry like a fucking baby. As it should.
I just watched "Bill Moves On" and I could not BELIEVE they didn't show Bill dying of a heart attack! They talked about it the whole show, and they hyped it up all over the news and the network, but they never actually showed it, even though the whole episode seemed to be building towards that moment.
What's done is done.
Watch Cobie's face during the "Stand by Me" scene. She's trying REALLY hard not to be laughing through the whole thing, and failing, and it makes the scene even better.
ARCTU's "Hitler" scream should go down in history as one of the best "Hitler" screams ever screamed by Andy Richter.
I am well aware some weird, dark movies sometimes become popular, but they are rarely kids movies (the only one I can think of is Nightmare Before Christmas). It would be wonderful for WTWTA to become a celebrated classic. I just doubt it will.
WTWTA is a great movie, but I seriously doubt it has the same shelf-life as the book. It's too weird and dark to remain popular, and it wasn't exactly a huge hit either.
I hate to be the douche who shows up on TV Club boards talking about a show he doesn't like, but I agree. Most TV club sections are about shows that you can actually evaluate and analyze week to week. What can be said about these shows at this point, other than "funny" or "not funny"?
Magnolia
I love that trailer, and I love that movie. I don't care how awkward it is,watching all of those great actors playing characters exploding is hypnotic.
I saw the shit out of it!
