So I've really tried to like Lars Von Trier.  Really have.  Thought Dancer In The Dark was ok, but didn't enjoy anything else.  Even The Element of Crime, which is gorgeous-looking, left me bored.  But then I read reviews about Antichrist and how this was going to be the perfect mixture of Cronenberg and Lynch times

Strange that the most rocking song on that album was featured in Benny & Joon, in a scene in which Johnny Depp was, literally, um, pushing forward-back.

Somebody get Weird Al on top of this.

Things I love about Lanegan:
His knack for great 2 minute-or-less songs (Woe, Judas Touch, Bombed).
The doomy atmosphere of tracks like The Winding Sheet and Beggar’s Blues.
Just how low his grainy voice can reach in Ugly Sunday and Kingdoms of Rain
The fact that the songs he covered in I’ll Take Care of You, he
