I get that, and that's helping me like it. Honestly, the Emperor's New Genes / Wizard Humbug or whatever is such a tired trope, I was sighing about it. I'd so much rather have a bad guy that is well developed and deeply, sophisticatedly evil and stays that way. It feels like more often than not, bad guys turn out

I've just started to realize fully that I think TM is playing Cosima like she's a little bit autistic spectrum / aspy - or at the least, super nerdy. Despite her warm hippieness. As in, she sometimes doesn't see the obvious thing/do the obvious thing, even though she's science-brilliant. She throws away the gun.

I did like her little smile when D suggests acting like they broke up.

And (I say from memory, without doing any research on kids) to extract them viably, you have to go through a lot of hormone treatment.

Ahem. *knocks on TV glass* We're going to need your creative license and writer's guild registration. Do you know how fast your plot was moving? No? I'm afraid I don't buy your story

I mean, she was talking about doing the moral thing. That'd be pretty moral.

Frock that. She said "frock that." :)

laughed out loud … not even this (very funny) episode got me to do that today

"or 2) a funeral pyre after Sarah saves everyone?"

It's totes an Electric Company reference, yes, but from The Goonies.

I'm supposed to read this in Darth Vader's voice, right?

Give him a minute to catch up. He's been mostly dead all day.

I wish they had put that in by name, though. I feel like they only vaguely alluded to it if they remembered the law at all

Didn't we see them dig up the garage to bury a second body? I remember it being approached with grim humor.

It can be two things. Also, I think you could make a clip compilation proving either of those, due to inconsistentinence.

In the tremendous lists of ways this should have gone, I would have been happy for her to remain a ghost in the machine, contacting them at opportune times, until eventually she takes off her mask and we realize she's been dying of clone flu for a long long time. Then she dies of it and the stakes are raised/reminded

That's what mom said about dad!!!

I dunno. She was a cool hacker chick who was going to survive no matter what. And then she wasn't. Her motivations, while possibly explicable and human, could have been made clearer and more engaging for better storytelling potential.

ugh ugh yes ugh boooo

Also, the way Ferdinand goes "This is going to be even better!", referring to the layers upon layers of psychology behind the scene about to play out —
and then it's over in five seconds. So many ways that could have gone I would have hated less. A protractedly satisfyingly awful death and torture scene. MK getting
