In this thread, you should have capitalized "all-time #1" and "first."
Since this is the internet, I have no choice but to respond thusly:
I answer myself! Just listened to a track called "Rented Room," and it seems he kinda does! Hooray!
Does he sing?
I happened to glance at the music reviews just as they were posted, apparently, and none of them had any comments on them. Dear Lord, I thought, this is what the firsties people dream of! And then I thought, Oh my God, there's no possible way I can make firsties on all those articles! And then I remembered, Oh…
Jason Heller you are pretty fucking amazing at this. Your references are super obscure, not sure how many people will be able to peg what halfway between The Birthday Party and Antioch Arrows will sound like, but damn if it isn't right the fuck on.
Also good to know about if you like to do the Sunday crossword puzzles. That's how *I* found about that French motherfucker.

oh my god it's like you have a window into my soul

OK, now I'm feeling like a moron. As I type this, it appears as though I am replying to myself. When I hit post, I assume it's going to drop down below your post, Doc. Let's see.
I just saw this! I didn't realize the New & Improved AVClub© was notifying people about responses. Man, the 21st century is awesome!
Ahem. I believe you mean "Tyler Perry's Child, Why You Wanna Bother Me When My Stereotypes So Weary? Featuring Tyler Perry."
Funny, I thought the first film was all "flash and attitude," and didn't feel anything like what Doyle did with the stories. It's certainly possible that if Doyle lived today, he'd be all over what Ritchie is doing, but for me, it was kind of embarrassing.
Way to spot a lower third.
