That's incredibly reductive.  YMIW has riffing.  It has discussions about people's careers.  Yes, it will on occasion feature New Age-type thinking about how best to exist in the world, which I often find clumsy, and sometimes features too much Pete Holmes and not enough of The Guest, but it also tends to be way

Some day, Thants.  Maybe someone will make one of those Sporcle music quizzes for Autechre, though it'd be a meager substitute.

My dad was a huge Mel Brooks fan and got me into his movies, but he always talked up The Producers as the best one - problem was, the local video stores didn't have it.  When we went on vacation on some rainy day, we finally found it in a video store - I have to say as a 12 year old I really didn't 'get it'.  And if

That and it feels like reviewers take out the difficulty of reviewing the album on the album itself.  Autechre albums can't really be great - I mean, they can be great insofar as they push various envelopes of what we consider music - but I think they're mostly done with all of that.  They just make sound textures

I've always wanted to play Name That Tune with Autechre songs - 'I can Name That Track in 7 buzzes, whirs, rattles, clatters, or beats'

In fairness, and I speak as an AE fan, Autechre is just impossible to review.  Pitchfork's recent reviews have been embarrassing.  Their sound changes slightly on each release, but few people who actively hated, say, LP5 are going to run out to buy Move Of Ten.

A conventional ending would've had Tony in a pool of blood.  Please, please, please, do not call how the Sopranos ended 'conventional' even if you think it ended with Tony's death, because it is NOT conventional even so.

Jordo:  We see Pussy, clearly alive, in the mirror in Season 3 and then he's never seen again - he must still be around.  Maybe he killed Tony - he'd know about where Tony and his family like to eat.

For myself, I don't mind PDN - he's very opinionated and knowledgeable - but I do wish he'd lose the random sharpshooting or cut it down by 75%.  I don't need to know how he feels about High Anxiety.

That's fine, but on Jeopardy at least the game and not the people are the focus.  They spend about 3 minutes on the contestants, they spend 19 minutes playing the game.  Wheel of Fortune has all kinds of gimmicky prizes and stuff and seems designed to appeal to people who play slot machines regularly, but regardless,
