Here's the problem: if you take away some people's sense of oppression, they have NOTHING else. No real interests, no hobbies, certainly no athletic activities. A lot of the commenters (and article authors) straight up NEED misogyny (or more accurately their mistaken belief in it)
Equality and uniformity are two different things. The Bechdel test only addresses one of them.
