Everything they did from Blue Album to Maldroit was a like manna from the sky for me. And then a sharp, sharp decline….I'd still try to force myself to listen to their more recent stuff, and it really is a chore.

Can anyone justify playing Crusader Kings 2? I spent several hours trying, and trying, and trying to get into it and the interface was just too much. I felt like I was doing homework. Which is a shame, since I heard the soundtrack is one of the best among video games.

The Civ games are a lot like Star Trek movies - the even numbered ones are always superior. Civ 2 and 4 were both masterpieces, with Civ 4 garnering many "game of the year" awards.
With that said, it's not fair to judge Civ 5 and Civ 5 with both expansions as the same game. Once you add all of the new mechanics…
