Hornsby should be doing voice-over work.  His voice is perfect for cartoons.

I know it wasn't intentional due to how long ago they must have taped the episode, but the parallels between Britta's story and the "Occupy Wall Street" thing shouldn't be overlooked.

There's no bet-hedging or reboot-strategizing going on here.  The specific reason that everyone else gets the hard reboot, and the Batman & Green Lantern books are having "soft" reboots (or none at all) is because Geoff Johns and Grant Morrison have the most pull within DC.  Both have Hollywood ties, and it's in

The milk thing is a reference to "The China Study".  Wikipedia will give a better summary than me, but basically it was a research project that indicated the protein in milk (casein) directly causes cancer due to it's amino-acid ratios.  There's some holes in how the study was conducted, but some pretty convincing

There's a scene near the finale, when the fat lieutenant is in the men's room, and sees "Rawls sucks cock" (or something to that effect), and chuckles.

For what it's worth, the EW article mentioned a few good ideas:
- Establish and end date, and build the overall arc toward a final conclusion
- Retire some characters (specifically kill off Hiro, rather than keep coming up with stories that neuter his abilities)

Basically Pete Petrelli ruins this girls life/existence - gets her brother killed, and then loses her in the virus future, which may/may not get blinked out of existence.  
I guess the writers were expecting us to forget about her, or recognize her as just
