I am old.
I am old.
That dude… He's asking for it..
I paid Amazon. Fuckers.
That made me laugh out loud, and I was on an exercise bike. Hilarious, assuming it's some kind of meta joke.
I really liked this episode, I'm not sure why the grumbling (except for the child avatar; children don't belong in my tense, futuristic thrillers). It sets the table nicely for the endgame of the season. Samaritan is clearly very powerful and growing even more powerful. It would stretch credulity to think that three…
It might also cause Root to reexamine her faith in the Machine, which could be an interesting development on many levels.
I saw an interview with someone (Henson or Caviezel, can't remember) who said that the Reese/Carter kiss was unscripted and just thrown in there after a few takes by Caviezel, and they ended up keeping it in. I liked the Shaw/Root kiss more. It felt more organic, like, "Every hero in this situation kisses the girl…
Because of all the atheist organizations who have flown planes into a building shouting, "Natural selection!" at the top of their lungs? Or maybe you're thinking of all the atheists in Northern Ireland who killed English soldiers and Irish Protestants in the name of gravitational singularities.
The mash up between the radio show and what was happening in "real life" was excellent.
AoS i̶s̶ ̶a̶ ̶p̶e̶r̶f̶e̶c̶t̶l̶y̶ ̶g̶o̶o̶d̶ ̶s̶h̶o̶w̶ ̶i̶t̶s̶e̶l̶f̶ gobbles balls. There, that's better.
Can we have this instead of Agents of Acronyms? The production was great, the acting was excellent, and it just burned through plot. Very well done.
-I loved all the action and the fight scenes. Atwell has skills to pay the bills. "This is were I get off." Smooth line, but I doubt that guy is dead.
-The weird,…
I'm practically a lesbian in that regard.
It was all part of Kim's nefarious plot to make conservatives go see a Seth Rogan movie at an art house theater. Suckers. You fell right into his trap.
I don't read the comics, so I don't know, but is shrinking the Atom's only power?
To be fair, Ollie free climbed through the night in the bitter cold. No one, no matter how good his/her conditioning, is going to arrive at the top ready for a duel to the death.
"I'm an unbeatable assassin, as long as my enemies have to scale El Capitan in the dark and freezing cold, while I cruise up the south slope in the Hummer with all my people, the weapons, and my fur coat. I'll give you a minute to catch your breath before I kill you."
I loved that Ra's was all subtlety and small movements, floating just out of range and not really matching Ollie muscle for muscle. The choreography really sold the idea of a guy who had, as he said, killed thousands of people. He's seen all those moves before, hundreds of times.
Ugh. Jesus. I hadn't thought about all the new secrets to keep, but you're right.
I do enjoy this show, and I think the Thea reveal is fine in terms of the larger narrative, but like most things this season, it just feels forced and unnatural. I'm hoping the back end of the season picks things up a little bit.
Sounds hawt.
