More than a bit IMO. Hanoi Rocks too, particularly the "look".

The Ramones were a lot like The Cars. Their first record was such a classic that it was impossible to recapture the magic.

"Earthshaker" was good but the rest of their stuff was weak.

It definitely was, it was a lazy album probably released to fulfill contractual obligations.

Cinderella was a cross between AC/DC and Bon Jovi. Poison was Motley Crue crossed with GnR. Ratt, Dokken and Warrant all sucked. And WASP was total crap.

Back in the day, pretty much EVERY music critic sneered at EVERY "hard rock/metal" band. Oh sure, the "less reputable" magazines like "Creem" or "Circus" were on board but the so-called "prestigious" critics despised Zep, Sabbath, VH, you name it.

So this is what loyal Simpsons viewers get after sticking with the franchise during the lean years, a bunch of terrible crossover episodes and another one that played like it was written by a bunch of fourth graders in the "middle" reading group. This show has seen plenty of dumb premises but "Homer flies up into

Did you ever notice that Billy Joel always seems to have a sort of sneering contempt for the people he's singing about? He's mocking Brenda and Eddie based on their low-ambition simple suburban hellscape lives, like they're just a pair of deluded saps too stupid to see it all right there in front of them. He actually

I do understand why she's so idolized (good looking) but I never got Jay Z's appeal at all. Mumble and gloat, mumble and gloat.

It's a commercial for Beyonce, like her entire career. If she had a single non-narcissistic thought it'd die of loneliness.

All she ever does is celebrate herself. And it's really wearing thin, too. She'd better watch it and/or find something else to focus on because she won't be backlash-proof forever.

The extended episodes really ended up weakening the show IMO. It was all a lot of wasted time. IMO it would have been a better idea to devote the season more toward the characters finally realizing just how demented and sad the SOA lifestyle was by showing more of a contrast between the SOA life and "real life". They

True, Unser was the most loyal pal Gemma (and possibly SOA itself) had and in the end no one even really seemed to care that he was gone. Then again, the show basically ruined the Unser character when he helped Juice cover up a completely senseless brutal murder (the hotel guy) for no good reason.

The Jarry character was just bizarre, she served no real purpose whatsoever, then she has her "moment of clarity" an hour before the season and the show ends. She accomplished nothing, the total lack of a legit law enforcement foil brought the entire season down IMO.

Best comment ever.

You said above that you weren't going to read the comments. Yet you did, which makes that initial comment dubious at best.

I agree, it was a reasonable ending in theory but impossible to take seriously in execution. He was doing those overhead bird's eye shots of the chase and all it did was point out how cheap and stupid it looked.

Oh Sons Of Anarchy, as bad as you were at times, your wacky brand of B-level cable TV drama will be somewhat missed. With this show there's a very clear line where it became painfully obvious that it'd never be any better than it'd already been and that line was at the very end of the season two finale when KS

"The industry"…news flash: I'm not a fan of 'the industry", bro. Thus I don't care about it. Nice try though.

I love that too. He's a wily scheming evil madman intent on destroying our entire way of life AND a witless stooge too stupid to get anything done.
