See, I agree. I really didn't understand Bullock (Olyphant's character) in the first season. He just seemed to seethe without doing much (Justified has basically the same character but better because he has a personality).

I've just come up with a way for them to explain her staying in Meereen; bring forward the start of the siege. Have her stay for a bit, consolidate ready to launch the next attack, or have them start building ships or something ready for the trip to Westeros, so people don't think she's fucking around.

Am I getting something everyone else didn't? I thought Catelyn said that she regretted making the promise to look after Jon because she thinks the gods are now punishing her for it - by destroying her family. Her regret is selfish.

@avclub-60dd44fc5944d2c8eb5bc7b7b9a3a70d:disqus She was in her water dancing pose though. The whole point is that she was trained in the Braavosi style and has no clue how to fight like a knight - not that she'd be any good with that style anyway.

Firstly, I'm really surprised that no one has made any remarks to you yet considering how strongly Community fans tend to feel.

I really disagree. The Dana thing is pretty interesting to me in all the ways it is managing to link back in with the other characters. We got good reasons for Walden interaction, brought Mike in a way that felt much more organic than his investigations, gave Brody excuses for his breaking down and quitting, and I

Yes, I thought that with all the mention of the triads that there would have been a greater degree of interaction with them. What happened to the rumour of the triads preparing for war (in the episode where Bolin is kidnapped); did Lightning Bolt Zolt losing his bending stop that? I'd like to see some

@avclub-7e1ce4ce3124fd9ecc13a151afcff11b:disqus Disagree, there was no need to focus in on it. If the horse had been walking and as it moved out of the way we saw the shit, fine, but having it centre shot is cheap and reminds me of the kind of shows that I want GoT to get beyond.

No joke, there was a lot of wasted time in episode 8ish. I wish they had jiggled things around a little and not had two stagnant episodes in a row.

It didn't occur to me, or if it did I had forgotten by the time the RW came about. Obviously it was important so I bent the corner of the pages to come back to later, but the actual relevance was lost.

Having now watched the episode I think that Theon killed all the birds to stop news getting out.
