There's not a single moment of this episode that doesn't fill me with giddy glee. The car exploding in three different shots, that overlong beat before "wait, what?" "I KNOW!" looting, etc. etc. etchetera

IDNOT.

IDNOT.

From what little I've read about Season Nine, it looks pretty terrible. But I gave up with two issues to go in Season Eight and decided to leave the show as is.

I now dream of visiting the Wilkinson store, if only to stand and remember the Budgens that came before.

Ha, yes, it suddenly becomes hilarious. "Army had a half day".  I still want to see Buster meet the Dean. They've got these similarly weird inflections and tics that would make them hilarious in the same room. (In the first season, when the Dean yells, "and they'll think twice before they make fun of my job!", it

I admit that I looked at that comment for half a minute like this, before I realised it probably wasn't meant derogatorily. (Which would be a first, for any reference to Queensland.) In which case, [smiley face] [smiley face] [unicorn] [woman's shoe].

I think I was just equating Northern Hemisphere with US/Canada/UK, which are all on different timezones to Queensland. So yep, @avclub-ec6e411553d04950c3225c1fbdc8d116:disqus , that sounds far more sensible!

That is a very good point, and I'm pretty sure that comment is one of the dumber things I've said today.  I can't even blame alcohol. Dammit.
