I think the last shot of Look Who's Talking is a deliberate contrast to the last shot of Happy Go-Lucky.  Yeah, it was a usual TV contrivance for Veronica to go bare her heart to Logan only to have it smashed by Kendall, but she's still able to look Logan in the eye.  Veronica can always face her opponents

I know a woman who was questioned about her sex life in a deposition for a case that had zero to do with her personal life.  They were looking for character assassination ammo, and using the double standard still faced by women.  I don't know if her deposition testimony would have ultimately been admissible in court,

Gia's dumb.

I wasn't sure if in the essay he was including the premise of the show itself (high school girl is private eye) as one of the "ridiculous premises," but whenever I do hear a claim that the show has a ludicrous premise, I think of that documentary This Film is Not Yet Rated.  The producers of that film hired a private

I love that Weevil and Logan both got their revenge on Thumper—even though Logan isn't aware of it as he pushes the plunger.  Thumper after all was responsible for Logan going through a lotta hell.  I love that Logan got his opportunity to be responsible for Thumper's death by cheating on an essay.

I disagree that she was better than Hilton.  Hilton just had to basically play herself.  When I watched Versatile Toppings with a friend and Kylie explained her motivation to Veronica, my friend was like "Huh?  That doesn't make any sense."  I explained it again and he said, "Oh.  I guess she just wasn't a good enough

Rowan, you didn't mention the priest speaking to Veronica in the confessional about enemies….I think we're supposed to assume that's where she gets the idea to approach Jackie for help, and thus the substitute for any "Big Talk" to show their reconciliation I guess.

About Meg's death: I didn't watch the series in its original run, so didn't know about the promos, but I was angry she woke up at all.  I mean, if she's gonna die of a clot and the baby live, just do it….she wouldn't be initially lucid if she woke up anyway.  I always hope Meg waking up and begging Veronica to help

SPOILER FUTURE S. 2
You're saying "it's never followed up on," like because Lamb never did the right thing, the producers dropped the ball.  It was followed up on.  Veronica confronted him about it.  Lamb said his ass was in a sling, that is he's gonna protect his own ass and sell out Grace Manning, as well as Duncan,

After rewatching, I figured Wallace told Jackie about Lilly as part of a defense of Veronica he must have made, and Jackie did tell the psychic about it, then lied to Wallace about it.  It seems in character for both.

Spoilery for Wallace's story
