what i find funny about that example is ,ignoring the offensive nature of the original, the change is much better at least relatively speaking. Still a shit song but "Lets get it started" just makes more sense for it

I like his choice a lot. Plus this would be a great chance for dc to try and make a more light hearted movie to go with the gritty stuff and answer the critics of said constant grittiness

Exactly! The general idea is they cheated Death and hes out to claim whats his but they didn't do anything wrong. Clearly the main one was meant to have to have the premonition that saves them so its not really cheating.
