Jack's Stage Fright
Anybody else notice Lemon pointing out Jack's stage fright problem (seen in season 2 when he's in a sketch) when Jack mentions he was in a school play?
The Forest Whitaker eye was one of the funniest things I've seen on TV in a long while.
I sure hope that bring back AMH for a reprise later on in the season. Perhaps they can fit in a Wally World gag somehow.
I'm not jumping off the bandwagon yet, but I think the hype surrounding this show does need to simmer down. The last three have episodes have all been a little…flat.
Haley. Nice catch.
"You see that guy stuck on 2nd base? He keeps thinking about stealing 3rd, but I think that's a really bad idea…so how are you and Claire doing?"
And I'm sure hilarity ensued. Geniuses those sketch writers at MadTV…
Both films have a themes of fate/destiny vs random/unexpected.
Right there with ya, Trope.
I'll have to admit that Ghostbusters doesn't hold up well when placed on the pedastal we all place it upon…but damn do I love that movie. I thought the details of his final day were drawn out far too long for an hour long documentary. I could have done without seeing an old televised interview of the liquor store clerk who sold him malt liquor and got an autograph hours before he died…
It's time like these, that I hate myself for being a sports junkie and need my HD football and ESPN fix now and then. Otherwise, I'd be completely cable free and watch everything online.
Giving Cameron the Benefit of the Doubt
Not to sound like a Cameron fanboy, but I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. Aliens remains one of the best sequels of all time…True Lies was basically his version of James Bond and it still holds well today…we all knew the ending to Titanic heading into the…
I am curious to see how they'll place these episodes on the DVD since they usually have them in order of air date. If it is still out of order, I would definitely notice when watching them in a big chunk.
I'm right there with you. However, it was definitely "Tommy Boy".
