I completely disagree with the critique of this episode. It was probably the strongest episode of the season, take away last weeks. For GIRLS, it moved at a break neck pace. A lot ACTUALLY happened. And all the plot mechanisms worked. Shoshanna has really come into her own this season (she should actually be billed

I'm in awe of this show's ability to root all of its shenanigans in reality. I mean, when you write it all down it sounds crazy: drug lords, murder, twin brothers, mental asylums - this shit's crazier than Breaking Bad. Yet, it's all extremely grounded when you're watching it all unravel. This is one of the most

I never thought of it that way, i think you make a very good point.

I don't think they made Richie look better, I'm well aware his characterization is coherent with how he was in season 1 so I agree there. However, they did make Kevin look pretty bad in order to affirm the "depth" of the relationship between Richie and Patrick. I just think this episode shouldn't have included Kevin

That's a good point, but we already understood he was never going to tell his boyfriend about Patrick. His scenes tonight felt redundant and out of place with the rest of the episode and that's why i think they tried too hard. The scenes were unnecessary is all.

I definitely feel as though this episode made a strong case for the Richie lovers (tonight, I finally found out his full name is not Richard, but Riccardo). I'm a huge Kevin fan, but this episode works really hard at making you dislike him in order for the stuff with Richie to really resonate. I felt in that respect,

I have this list of my favourite GIRLS episodes on my notes on my computer and this one is easily going on there. Wow. I mean, this episode was good enough to make sense of all the mess that came before it this season (except Marnie's stuff…that's still horrendous). Adam and Hannah's relationship has been the backbone

This episode gets an A for Raven Symoné alone! I'm so excited she's back on my television screen and they better have her singing something soon

I'm quite surprised they decided to do such a tense episode so early on in the season, but i'm so glad they did. That scene where Philip is pulling out Elizabeth's teeth was cringe-worthy and extremely effective. I just love this show because every week I feel like i'm watching a mini spy thriller film in the vein of

I want Val to be the entertainment at allll my parties!

Mindy Kaling is one of the most charismatic people on television at the moment. This episode was so sweet.

Alba crying makes me cry! It's too much to handle!

He gets giddy over douching… how is that not a childlike joy?

I know, haha. I call him Richard all the time, the way disapproving fathers call their daughters' dates by their full names. I think he's a bad fit because Patrick has this child like joy for the world, and he's often times so full of wonder and excitement whereas Richie has such a hardened, serious personality.

Am I the only one rooting for Kevin and Patrick…I find Richard to be very off-putting and an extremely bad fit for someone like Patrick.

Okay! Now we're going somewhere! I loved this episode, because it was the first of the season that felt like an episode of GIRLS. I feel like the last three episodes have been trying a more mainstream approach with cinematography, and much shorter story lines, but it wasn't paying off because scenes seemed rushed, out

There was no way that this episode was going to top "Run", but it was very fun and as usual, I'm trusting Rhimes.

No show does slow burn as well as The Americans. I trust it to be nuanced and thrilling all at once. With other shows, when I don't know what the hell is going on, I get uncomfortable. But with The Americans, I barely ever know what is going on…and that's the best part.

You know a lot of shows that are as audacious as Broad City lose steam by their second or third seasons because they it's hard to always have a fresh idea. But i'll be damned! This is as fresh as television gets. I don't think Broad City will ever lose that feeling of newness and that's an amazing feat to pull off

This was definitely my favourite episode yet! Yes, the whole rose is Sin Rostro bit wasn't so surprising but when you reveal it like that…who gives a fuck?
