A-

I feel like I should point out, just so you can measure your expectations, that there is a significant jump in quality between seasons 1 & 2. I didn't really fall in love with the show until the finale of season 1, but it's easily been one of the best shows on TV since its second season.

I can see where you're coming from and hate that people are using that awful downvote button. I don't think you're giving enough credit to how good Cheers was for its time though. Innovation can only happen so fast. It's like when a metalhead tells me they don't like Sabbath because they aren't heavy enough.

"Don’t hold your breath for an LCD Soundsystem reunion any time soon, though. In the same interview, Murphy told Rolling Stone he intends to spend the immediate future building a new studio, where he’ll make a new solo record. "

Justified had a better year than most of the shows on that list

Lots of hipsters raining downnvotes on you, too. Didn't we collectively agree to ignore that button? Ugh

Everything I want to say about this omission has pretty much been said, but I feel it's necessary for me to add to the wall of comments pointing it out. God, this staff has awful taste in music. David Anthony gets a pass for putting Pelican at #3 though.

And yet you clearly like Baseball, which essentially makes you the worst kind of person.

COVER IT

Why does everyone leap to defend that band so aggressively and how much stuff do we have to go through this year before my friendship stops being questioned?

Man, that is ancient

John Hurt was attached?! His absence is disappointing me before the show's even been filmed

I realize this was written 6 months ago, but I just wanted to comment on how awesome it is to see a Jucifer reference online.

Ah! So this is where all the deviants hang out. Nice little back alley corner you have here.

This is still in line with the alcohol theory

Agreed. This season definitely has some problems, but Homeland's never been perfect and this was one of the best episodes this season so far. Lots of good character moments and funny lines.

Those are pretty much the opposite of my impressions of him

Dude, there is no way, no way in hell he dies before the end of the last season. His time was at the end of season 4 and Sutter pulled the punch then which pretty much guarantees he'll be around long past his thematic usefulness.

I agree, but I think most people here are overthinking (or perhaps underthinking it). She's effectively an apparition, which is why she appears the same age she was at her death. She's the one aspect of this show that has always seemed supernatural and allegorical. I also do not expect we will get any further

Honestly, my experience the last five years or so living in Athens is that the only reason people ever went to Weaver D's was the REM connection. Sad to see him go, but there are better places to eat around and I doubt he would have lasted as long as he did without REM.
