There's no real split. The Cinematic Titanic and Rifftrax members follow each other on twitter, they've done a bunch of con panels together ("Crow vs. Crow", etc.) and Mary Jo has riffed for both projects. Just because a bunch of people who worked on a show together 20 years ago aren't best friends and making new

I saw Ro-Man; now I have to rewind my DVR to catch Jan in the Pan.

SAME.

Well, I'm all grown up now.

MICHAEL LOVE MARRY

If Alaska doesn't get a gig as a children's show host (co-starring Lil Poundcake and the Roxxxy puppet) after this episode, there is no justice.

About time they kissed. And no time-travel retcons this time!

I loved Alaska's big-haired cat burglar look (I'm a sucker for a catsuit, okay), even if Nebraska looked like she'd stolen some hams and stuffed them down there.

This show deserves an A just for casting Jeffrey Combs as author "H. P. Hatecraft."

Alaska's Tennessee Williams character realness in the mini-challenge still makes me laugh.

we'll always have the "Bitch, sit your ass down and shut the hell up, bitch!" gifs.

Has this show always had a block of wood with baby doll arms sticking out of it as a table centerpiece? What the hell?

A couple years ago I was channel-surfing and caught Spike TV's award show right at the moment they showed the leg amputation scene from The Ruins. Jesus Christ, that was ghastly.

Well, at least Michonne has her cat statue.

I thought so as well. Nice Easter Egg.

Well,  they're both theater kids and Ivy was a circus performer. They probably have a lot more in common than editing may make it seem.

Who told Daryl he could wear sleeves?

I honestly don't see RoLaskaTox as the "mean girls in high school" of the competition—I think the show is trying to turn them into Heathers 2.0 via editing, but it's not really there. They largely just seem to cheer each other on and pick each other first for teams, which could eventually backfire (like Michelle said,

"She was the one back-stabbing me behind my back!"

I was lucky to catch Only Yesterday when TCM aired it years ago as part of a Ghilbi tribute. It's a nice little movie. I guess Disney feels that if they can't market it to little kids, there's no audience for it. Sad.
