Arkham Asylum lived up to it's hype. It wasn't crazy difficult, but it was paced nicely and had great visuals and atmosphere. I'm not a fan of fighting bosses though.

I admit that my multi-player experience is very limited. I'm only a casual gamer, but the times I've tried the Xbox LIVE multi-player it was full of non speaking, run and gun mayhem.
