Danny's was a bit much on the "parody of Troy" side, which is funny, but Donald's was closer to how Abed actually behaves. Although the way he held his hand annoyed me.

It's always Dan Harmon.
"That theme song used to fill me with joy."
That is poignant. And I know what you mean.
Agree.
Disagree.
I'm actually kind of tired of hating Andy. Sure, he's one of the most frustratingly inconsistent sitcom characters ever, but Ed Helms is funny and it seems like they've finally settled on him being Michael Scott. So right now I'm fine with him as long as he doesn't take up too much screen time.
That was awful.
I watched a bit of the pilot once. I found Gervais difficult to understand and insanely unlikable. Does this change as the show goes on? If it's better than the American version then I'm sure it's worth watching, but it certainly didn't make a very good first impression on me.
Using an Arrested Development reference to say The Office was never great? C'MON!
This this this. I always think of Dinner Party when I need a reminder of how darkly brilliant this show could be at its best.
Oh I didn't catch that. Very disappointing. They have that sort of stuff in some of the bloopers for previous seasons, though, so I wouldn't classify it as post-Harmon problem.
Best summation of the season I have seen thus far.
Season 2 had Abed's Uncontrollable Christmas, among other strong episodes for his character. Bottom line: he had way more to do in season 2 than he does now.
It's so weird because Britta has more chemistry with (and seemingly attraction to) Jeff on any given week. Their relationship is only ever brought up for the sake of a joke, which is absolutely not the way it should be.
I was so excited when I thought we finally moved passed "Annie loves Jeff and Jeff kind of likes her but oh wait she's too young so he'll just pat her on the head" after Virtual Systems Analysis, but noooo.
Is Harmontown in any way a substitute for Harmon-era Community? Genuinely curious.
I let him trick me into thinking I've been pronouncing it wrong all these years and as a result my self-esteem took a major hit. Well, no more.
*Spoiler* The new showrunners said Chang might not be talking to anyone, which is honestly the best case scenario for me as crazy Chang is preferable (if only slightly) to conspiratorial Chang.
Awake was pretty good. At least to someone who'd never watched a procedural before. When I first heard it'd been cancelled I was angry, but the finale pretty much wrapped things up perfectly. Glad it ended that way.
I just started watching Breaking Bad today. The pilot was quite good. Loved the style and the editing, especially the music and meth montage. Not really invested in the characters yet, but I realize that's probably too much to ask from a pilot.
