Guy who said Captain Beefheart should be shot. Out of a cannon, into the sun. "Safe as Milk" is just what it says it is.

"Dookie" is Green Day's third album and not their best.
Agree with you, but I would include the first disc of "Physical Graffiti" (which I always thought was their best work anyway); the second disc is basically album #2 — did they have any more ideas after that?
An important one:
Led Zeppelin.
Pink Floyd never bested "Piper at the Gates of Dawn." I'm not suggesting it, I'm saying it.
Ditto Pink Floyd, but not Joni. Most of the others barely even matter, though. Did Fear ever do anything after "The Record?"
I always wanted to hear that record… thanks for reminding me.
Nah, "Pinkerton" was better. Now that Weezer is one of the worst band in existence maybe that doesn't matter much, but it matters to me.
Agreed that the "USA Underworld Trilogy" (as yet unfinished) is Ellroy's best work.

I've ascertained that this is an excellent interview. Did anyone else ascertain that?
Fuck Mad TV, any year.
Are you ready to be fucked, man?
Seriously though, there is nothing in even the "punkest" of PJ songs that doesn't sound more like Mountain than the Ramones. "Porch" is a good example actually: very Mountain-esque.
I could never stand the novel, but then I did see the movie first. But how could they possibly have done it faithfully?
Oasis seems to be finding its way out of the canon, though.
The punk influence on Zeppelin is pretty clear too.
Yeah, well I watched this LATER this week.
ALSO
Didn't they do a cover of The Beatles' "Revolution?" I recall it being another, even greater, Crime Against Music. Fuck the Stone Temple Pilots and all who sail with them.
I dunno - I always thought that Slayer made pussy music for pussies. I can just picture them between tours, sitting on the floor wearing pink frilly nightgowns and fuzzy slippers, sipping strawberry milkshakes, playing hearts, and rocking out to Connie Francis records. They probably freeze up every time the phone…
