I don't dislike handheld gaming for it being portable. I dislike handheld gaming which is proprietary.

I played through DQ6 on the Super Nintendo and enjoyed it. I played through DQ7 on the PS1 and enjoyed it, despite the horrifically awful FMV clips the first portion of the game has. I played through DQ8 and thoroughly enjoyed that, particularly because of the expansive overworld which the game allows you to explore.

I thought Miyamoto was on record disparaging F-Zero because of how poorly GX sold and blaming the poor sales on the game's difficulty.

F-Zero and Fire Emblem are good Nintendo franchises.

Bah, I thought I read from somewhere else earlier that it was a straight port from one of the DS games. Purchasing the game will be more palatable if it does have some actual unique aspect to it.
