if there's one thing this show consistently nails its how to show friends hanging out drinking and having a good time. it doesn't hurt that a messed-up lesie is probably the most hilarious thing on television… thinking of the flu episode: "hi, i'm leslie monster."

i really wish netflix would put their money where their mouth is and really make that netflix app less crappy… i watch mostly on a ps3 (blu-ray muthafucks) and the interface is absolutely terrible. the removing-movies-with-no-warning thing is bullshit (if something's on my queue and it's gonna disappear tomorrow send

having never owned a portable game system before this ps vita, i gotta say that the price-point is pretty reasonable for such a nice piece of hardware. it costs half as much as an ipad (or about the price of a nice smartphone) with most new games at $40 (uncharted is $50, some others are $30).

really? i thought it was a brilliant move on the academy's part to hire tim and eric as producers.

caught up on this season of spartacus (F*** YES) and spent some quality time with my playstation vita. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmjealous?

don't forget that tubby organizer fellow getting crushed. that was lovely.

haha, wow, you're inside my mind… unfortunately that indie-rock-lite has proven to have a pathetic shelf life (devendra banhart anyone? how about "bonnie" prince billy?) and i could hardly call it representative of the '00s.

good point. most of these would be right at home in the iOS. for my launch day i've got rayman: origins and escape plan, both seem amazing, but i'm waiting for that real console-style experience. fingers crossed for gravity rush!

so any word on those psone classics? was supposed to be ready for launch, then it wasn't, now silence… what i really want to know is if i'll be able to download the psone classics i already have on my ps3… seems like it would be uncharacteristically generous for sony to do that, but then again i do have a PURCHASED

i promised myself upon clicking this article i wasn't gonna get into it with y'alls selections, but here i go. mister nugent: to call grand funk a "terrible band" (yeah, yeah, by implication) would be doing a terrific disservice to a fantastic group that was way ahead of its time.

i think that kind of weird emotional immaturity is sort of central to ann's character.

yeah. it's amazing how well tom's character has been developed in this show. there's undoubtably a sweet and honest guy underneath all the layers of affectation, but the fact that they don't shy away from either aspect of his personality is a perfect example of what makes the writing on this show so great.

i loved when tom came back inside after waiting out in the rain. ann asks "what made you think that was a good idea?" and tom responds pitifully "…movies"

yeah, what got me good was the little aside "well I'D buy that dude… he's like two of me!"

boy, apparently i only come on this website to rag on Noel Murray. i love ya buddy, but your comic metaphor is shit. here's a better one and you can have it for free:

good job contributing to society. let's close the book on this one, boys…

hi mike! pete's not here, if he was there'd be a funny joke happening riiiiiiiiiiight now.

a recent bit of comedy that really stuck with me was pete holmes' takedown of the google age; simply put, that we have so much knowledge at our disposal, but we completely fail to learn any of it. it takes so little effort to learn something that "knowing" feels exactly the same as "not knowing."

the reveal on andy's broken hand was my laugh of the night. some fucking classic stuff right there.

zack you completely nailed why the grinch is the one holiday entertainment that i'll watch. i think like most adults i have a pretty sane (read: ambivalent) view of christmas, and the constant desperate pleading from all sides to just "buy in" to the christmas spirit makes me even grinchier… nevermind the fact that
