You are conflating themes with narrative. Personal growth, familial ties, fighting despotism, forgiveness, etc, are all common themes, but the narrative of Korra approached these themes in its own unique, sometimes unexpected way, and the agents responsible for moving the narrative forward and expressing these

No one is saying its the greatest love story ever told. In fact, Asami and Korra's love story hasn't been told yet, which is why the ending was so great. It was the depiction of a budding romance, not a full-fledged one.

The end was about Korra finding peace, and her budding romance with Asami was a manifestation of it.

I actually kind of saw it coming when Korra and Asami sat next to each other during the wedding. I was like, wait, its really gonna happen, and I panicked because my heart would not be able to withstand me being right.

While, yes, Ultron's voice is robotic, you can still hear Spader's distinct, (and dry and sarcastic, as you say) vocals in it . This marriage of robot and human so perfectly encapsulated in his voice is what makes that scene so effective, and really sells Ultron as an artificial intelligence.
