Cloud Atlas by David Bowie. A chameleon of a novel as arranged by rock's resident shape-shifter.

Christ, exactly.

I think it means breaking as in turning, as in the usage you hear in films where, for example, a jet pilot might order his wingman to 'break right.' You see this usage in sports as well.

That's what I usually wind up doing. It looks like my own hyperbole has derailed the point that I was trying to make, which is simply that I really dislike drive time FM radio.

I only have to drive this car about once a month. Not worth the money.

My personal hell is called morning drive time radio. I usually drive my bluetooth-equipped-radio car, but every now and again I get stuck with my wife's FM-radio-only car and in those cases I routinely consider driving off the road and ending it all.

Should be able to play it on SCUMMVM if you don't mind dealing with emulation.

I thought it was excellent. It was a graphic adventure from the glory days of Lucasarts. IIRC, it was based upon a script that Spielberg abandoned for whatever reason. http://en.wikipedia.org/wik…

Ever play The Dig?

Miami Connection is on this same wavelength for me.

The deaths of David Bowie and Bill Murray will fucking demolish me.

The Criterion Zatoichi Box Set.

Weird that there's no "Lawsuit involving some dumb thing you wrote" notification on the A.V. Club.

Hiya.

I'm here but I'm only about 2/3rds the asshole you're looking for, apparently.

Holy crap.  This is the first I've heard of it.

Do you have your towel?

Piper Flipping Chapman. C'mon.
