Enough about your promiscuous mother, Hermes!
I have apparently taken on the role of Farnsworth in this comments section.
You're THAT Bubblegum Tate?!
While you were gone, the Trotters held a news conference to announce that I was a jive sucker!
I don't think it's no good. I enjoy the ending. Snyder was great. The subversion of horror cliche is solid. I don't like Sid, though. And there's remarkably little going on in that episode, even by S1 standards. It's just so. .straightforward.
Yeah, Prophecy Girl is the finale. But Prophecy Girl doesn't have quite the same impact if you haven't settled into the 'this is a horror comedy' groove and then get hit with PG's whiplash. And there are other episodes that are important plotwise in S1, of varying quality. I really like The Pack, and it kills off…
Eh, Prophecy Girl to me is still one of the best episodes. I was making a point that season 1 doesn't quite live down to expectations for everyone as much as you might think. More than anything it's just best to say "season 1 is primarily a horror comedy and it begins transitioning into a teen drama at the end of it."
He's seen all of the Star Treks, The Wire, Deadwood, and Lost, and probably as much as he wants to see of Doctor Who.
I can't even do that with a show I like.
Two months. All of that in two months.
As much as I like the two-part premiere, no one could really blame you for not being impressed enough with it to continue. Try the S1 episode Angel, which I'd say is the first very good and overall important episode of the show. If that works well enough for you, go through S1 from the beginning, and have patience…
Personally, I really enjoy S1 of Buffy, and would just say the show takes some time to mature in its writing and start to be dramatic.
WEEKS of harassing messages, reporting him to the administrators, and him making new accounts. And him harassing a good friend of mine on twitter, and impersonating her on OKCupid.
Fatman/StrungOutDeathSquadLeader seems to have stopped harassing and stalking me at last, so I'm just about comfortable enough to start looking around on OKCupid again. Wish me luck.
I don't really find myself surrounded by and regularly talking to too many people who get like that, but I can understand where you're coming from a bit, there.
What exactly is scary about what I'm expressing? I'm not comfortable with romantic partnership with someone who's in a totally different place in life and state of mind than I am, that seems universal enough.
I'm sorry you feel that way and are experiencing this, and hope the best for you.
Exactly.
Well, asexuality isn't inherently sex-repulsion. Plenty of ace people have sex, and are sex-neutral or even somewhat positive. But you ought to consider whether sex is inherently unenjoyable for you or not.
