Germany, guys. The Germany thing will always be worse than anything else.

Mad Men season 3? That was easily the worst season. Don's in a lull with no arc whatsoever going on for most of the season, it has the two worst episodes of the show in The Fog and Love Among the Ruins, and the throughline of the "British Invasion," while good, is hardly on the level of 2, 4 or 5.
I consider the fourth season the second best Arrested Development season, actually. I think it distinctively improved on what kept a show I loved behind most of my other favorite comedies.
Renly always came off to me like how the show presented him. Maybe because the tv show's elaboration was meant to make up for not knowing much of anything about in the books, and it impacted me well, I don't know. But I was so rooting for Renly in the War of the Five Kings, and it took me a very long time to ever like…
They knew he needed a new partner for cryptic conversation with Littlefinger gone.
THAT'S THE POINT.
That's the point of Carol.
Or Don will be watching the theatrical premiere of Logan's Run in 1976.
Well, Weiner has talked about the design of the character, with his suits and beard, being intended to evoke Satan, and that's why Bert was the one to push Don into signing the contract in season 3.
The creator intended for the three seasons and the film to be it, and left when Nick forced the series to keep going because it was a cash cow. That's a pretty easily understandable/good reason for dividing them.
For me, it was much more enjoyable than the original James, especially because it was lighter and succeeded at that, while the other tried to be tragic and failed pretty badly. PB was completely in the right and as this episode made clear, James really is just a useless asshole.
As someone who is around the same age as him, that does seem insane. I grew up with The Simpsons. My friends and I bought the classic seasons on dvd at my insistence. (we have to start at the beginning!) It greatly influenced me. And admittedly, I was very excited for the movie when it was first announced.
I've really been won over on this episode since it came up between us what has to be almost a year ago by now, and I have you as a big part of that, so thank you.
I think she can handle a couple of moments over the course of seven seasons. It's half the degree of violence that bothers her (couldn't get past the first five minutes of No Country) and half the plentitude of it (can't watch most mobster movies/Tarantino films, etc.).
The Borgias is hilariously inaccurate, so. .
My mom is officially cooler than your mom.
Yeah, violence overwhelmingly puts her off, so she's avoided a lot of popular and acclaimed shows* alike, which she's expressed a little regret over. She and I have talked about all those procedurals before, how they normalize violence and sexual violence, and hinge on the constant death of women, etc.
I should totally tell her about Borgen, if I can ever get access to it.
As much I love Jeremy Irons, you know how to make the other one sound promising, even if Rawls was apparently miscast.
She hasn't gotten around to watching it. My dad was watching it and didn't realize she would be interested.
