I love Stardoz so much.
I love Stardoz so much.
Netflix just announced that it will be added as of March 30th.
A-.
Netflix doesn't immediately add things based on DVD release, it depends on contracts and such. They usually add a new season for an AMC show the week before the next season premieres, or thereabouts.
No The Missionary, no American Gods, no The Money. .
Season 4 is still one of the best seasons of television ever made, but I'd put it below 5 because its endgame is so weak compared to the other seasons'. Hands and Knees makes for an amazing episode, but so much of the plot development happening in that one episode crippled the last few. I will grant that 4 does a…
The Wheel is a wonderful episode, but it's not even the best episode in season 1. It's somewhere in the teens for me, below The Hobo Code. I've never understood it and season 1 being still so venerated, fantastic as they are, when the show has done so much better since.
1. The Other Woman
2. The Suitcase
3. In Care Of
4.…
I feel like that's a grand misreading on the handling of the character, and especially the incredibly tragic season 5 story he had. Him being a douchebag that had been originally written out effectively as a punchline ("Oh, come on!" upon finding his torn apart office) was no change from how he'd been characterized…
I know it's the Cleric equivalent.
. .Three months after I bought the first season. Oh well.
I know!
Yeah, you're better off.
After Hours is still going and pretty good. There's a great one where they're talking about the archetypes of modern tv while thinking up their own show, from USA's quirky detective blandfests to the successors to The Sopranos, and when they try to name as many subversive aspects as possible for their own show, they…
(Muffin is talking about Cheese, not Gladstone. Cheese is infamous for writing very dramatic advice articles that talk about his many past issues, including child abuse. I personally really like his stuff.)
Nothing on Graduation is as good as Blood Diamonds from Sierra Leone, but it's a much more consistent, albeit mediocre album than Late Registration, not to mention much shorter, thankfully. I'd put them at about the same level.
Fuck yes it is.
I hated that show precisely because I thought LaBeouf's character was very obnoxious. I was clearly ahead of the curve.
Yeah, at this stage, I'm much more okay with it than the poorly done sexual tension back in season 1. It was believable and sincere and I think shows how different Jeff has become. I hope that they keep it to a little moment like that, though.
In all sincerity, yes, it's up there for me.
Definite A.
