Not that there's anything inherently lame about animated comedies having characters liking autoerotic asphyxiation with robots. Two words: Cheryl Tunt.

I honestly kind of freaked out when I heard "Northies" in the middle of that song. It's a pretty realistic idea for what a Avatar-verse pejorative would be like, and certainly adds well to the 20s atmosphere and the film's propaganda nature alike.
Motherfucker, that's what I get for not being able to bring my laptop to college every Wednesday. Thank you for telling me, I'm glad she knows.
Why start a pun thread when you can start a Perv Friday thread?
You're goddamn right.
. .I could hug you right now. Thank goodness. I need to tell K. Thrace this, we were discussing that concern a week or two ago. I wish you the best of luck in those endeavors, particularly avoiding being charged for the votes.
Ah man, how am I going to be able to know when I'm talking to one of my favourite AV Clubbers?
My apologies for ignoring that this is most likely just a joke with no other meaning. I've been told that you can't and would completely understand if that's so, but I have to ask, to be sure:
I feared this day would come. .
They certainly did, and at least one of them was albino. That's what caught me off-guard more than anything, although their sudden appearance by itself was off-putting as well.
I completely understand your being busy, respect it, and encourage you to put that ahead of being on here if necessary.
*Sighs* Right. I totally acknowledge that, as much as it frustrates me. Of course the interesting part of Batman isn't going to be touched by the film franchise. Nolan's films are as close as they'll ever get, most likely. I really was just talking about the core of Batman in general, not specifically the films or…
. .But there's nothing wrong with him being crazier and more dangerous than those he pursues if that's part of the story. I know Miller probably didn't intend it, but the story he wrote in TDKR works just as well as not coming down in support of Batman's ideals as what he intended for it to, and in the obviously…
I have nothing against camp, as I adore The Brave and the Bold. Silver Age has its place. I still loathe Burton's films. They didn't work as serious stories or as camp and took far too many liberties.
One can read The Dark Knight Returns fine without at all believing what Miller does. The story still works and functions equally as well being about a bitter psychopath with disturbing ideals, it doesn't just function as coming out in favor of a particular ideology and nothing else because Miller was still a competent…
I don't know about the only way, but absolutely.
Well yeah, as you're watching that scene during the episode, of course you're going to know what's about to happen, that doesn't make it less awesome to see unfold in front of you.
. .You guys are *really* making me want to see Asylum, you know. Get on that shit, Netflix Instant.
The build-up of dread at the frat party was fairly effective, unfortunate as it was that of course Ryan Murphy immediately jumps to a main character being raped in the 'women's season.'
Wait, you expected that Jessica Lange was going to Last Crusade a dude just from those previews? . .Either I'm shit at seeing things coming or you really are too used to this show.
