The "I can't keep up with you motherfuckers even when I am actually here on time" thread.

But that's not horrible, that's amazing.

My willingness to watch a reality show is nonexistent, big shocker there, but I'm happy to support a fellow AV Clubber, I'll check it out.

Insomnia. Also, One Hour Photo like Buzz said, but more importantly, Insomnia.

A Glitch is a Glitch is a good example of the show's experimental nature, probably the best in the sense of the degree that it is experimental, but it shouldn't represent that quality, it's their weakest experiment easily.

Any of the nominees besides Les Mis and Silver Linings Playbook deserved it more than Argo, absolutely. It's a good movie. It's fine. It's competent. That's it.

The idea was that the disparity had gotten significantly worse since the passing of the previous generation's leaders like Aang and Sokka, indicated by the government becoming increasingly oligarchical and not a single member of the Council during the first season being a non-bender.

I found Ben to be highly compelling, frankly. I see this complaint frequently and just don't understand it. Like, I love Jonesey and Libby, (and Justin, Iris, Sophie and Samson, I'll grant you) but they are not more interesting than Ben's struggle between destiny and his belief in justice , archetypal as it may be. When I consider all of the great major characters from Brotherhood, Al, Riza, Roy, Winry, Scar, Hohenheim, it's very hard to make a counterpoint to this, but I dearly want to. Edward's a great protagonist and very compelling character for me, definitely among the small number of protagonists that I hold as great

McNulty's serial killer story is fantastic, the only issues are in the pacing of the season and the Newspaper storyline. Besides it being "unrealistic," which is just. .what? What exactly were the issues with that storyline, people? I don't mean that in a self-superior way, I'd like to understand.

I loved it, but it's hard to convince me that a season one episode of anything is one of its best, especially when everything after season one (especially 5 and 6) sound so much more interesting than one has been. And I've really enjoyed season one.

Yeah, I have the mildest amount of regret that I didn't experience Anna Gunn's victory or the show finally winning Outstanding Drama first hand. *Only* the slightest.

It was his 52nd birthday in Albuquerque, after the multiple time skips during this episode. That Denny's was in Albuquerque, we'd seen it before season 5.

The least interesting main character in the first series was Sokka, and I still really liked him. In fairness, though, between my age at the time the show premiered and my own pacifist ideals, it's no wonder I strongly identify with Aang and his internal conflict.

Adventure Time lost to a fucking Disney short. Its fourth loss in a row. Simon and Marcy* lost to a Mickey Mouse cartoon. *NERD RAAAAAGE*

Or Downton Abbey, Downton Abbey cheating the system and winning for miniseries before switching to drama series and still winning in some categories last year was downright insulting.

Some people just don't have interest in being tethered to something for long. He wasn't tied to The Sopranos for long either, despite having written College, a great episode and one of the series' most famous. (I can't comment either way on it being one of their best, being only on season one. I'm sorry, there's so

She was a black hole in part because everything she would've had as a character was given back to Jack when he was kept after all. And he was just as terrible a character anyway.

Hey, that's Upchuck from Daria. . .A character that I mostly hate. Carry on.

It would be hypocritical of the Emmys because this is the first time they have ever nominated Breaking Bad in Drama Writing, which they have rightly been torn apart for lately over how absurd that is.
