I'd be very interested to read commentary on the original V series.

Well, keep in mind that said 'original' is a remake of its own, but yeah, seriously, see Carpenter's The Thing. It's fantastic.

AND DON'T YOU DARE SAY YOU THOUGHT IT WOULD BE THE PEN!

Not at all weird. Matt Damon has a sense of humour, is a great actor, and is one of the few politically conscious celebrity actors that isn't fucking obnoxious, if not the only one. He is definitely awesome.

Ah, he was fine. The only reason he did it himself was because their contracted actor backed out at the last second and they would've had to delay shooting to recast it. Ben Affleck is the Tina Fey of movies, apparently.

PIG FUCK!

You're just simultaneously making me glad to be back and tormenting me. I hope you know that, friend. I swear I'll get to it sometime this year. I'll do that in place of following along with Freaks and Geeks like I was hoping to.

Goodness, I need to make time for that this year. But I have Mad Men Season 6. . And Breaking Bad rewatch/catch-up. . And Orange Is the New Black. . *Sighs*

Either the fallout from Walt's downfall scares him straight and he moves to Colorado, or he horribly burned out and moved to the ABQ after Vaughn left. I came up with this idea recently after remembering that Badger showed up while rewatching season one with my girlfriend.

Damn it, this just puts further holes in my silly headcanon that Vaughn's hippie friend (played by Badger) is Badger either pre or post-Breaking Bad, along with Gus showing up in season 3.

Fables is being adapted into an episodic video game series now, by Telltale, they of the fantastic Walking Dead game.

I thought oddduck was suggesting that they binge-ate the concept somehow. I keep forgetting that Bing exists.

For the record, it's not lovely. My family sat through it for about two minutes once during dinner, back when I was in high school. It was sincerely one of the worst things I've ever experienced. Everything about it just makes me cringe. Anger Management is just as bad, based on whatever I briefly hear before muting

I'm sorry if this is a little awkward given my comparative lack of history with you guys and you specifically, Scrawler, but I absolutely second/third/whatever Craig here. You are delightful.

I'm the Houston area, unfortunately.

All of you are making me feel better about being isolated from something like this by also living in Texas. We should form a union or something.

Howdy doodat?

There's 22 episodes left in season 5, it's going to be a double-length season, I've presumed in order to give them more time for writing and producing season 6, which has been said to return to the crazy ambitiousness and drama of season 4.

Hell, at the time, regardless of whether you've been told or not, you can be convinced that Jesse might die there, at least as much as you can while watching One Minute, when you realize how perfectly it would work to kill Hank at that moment. I was absolutely terrified for Jesse in that moment and was completely

You're not crazy at all. It as a one-act play and just the story of Stringer and Avon in The Wire as a three-act play, they both would be incredible.
