It bothers me because Matt and Foggy really do only really have each other in this city. Yeah, Karen's part of the trio, Foggy has his family at home, and they have the occasional romance that never works out on both sides, but they're not just best friends, they're pretty much the only other person they've got, and…
Funny because I remember the cartoon Static Shock, and how his best friend Richie was supposed to be implied to be gay. It's a kid's cartoon so that didn't fly, but the creators said one of the tells that implied Richie was gay was the overcompensation that he really wanted to be around women.
Foggy being opposed to using heartbeats to tell if someone's lying from a legal standpoint doesn't hold too much weight if thought about, but I think it was just a knee jerk reaction to knowing Matt can use that in a court of law.
I do think the comments of how women are brought down in the show can be excessive, but Karen did pull off a dick move by not revealing the true reason as to why she wanted to go to the retirement home and trying to cover by saying Ben might be able to bring his wife there, even though Karen probably knew he couldn't…
It's a personal deception from day 1 like Foggy mentioned though. Yes, Matt didn't have to lead with revealing the info, but Foggy found out he puts on a blind act.
The comic book Daredevil can, but I don't know if the show ever reveals/goes into whether Matt can read off the ink. Wouldn't be surprised though.
I wish we saw more scenes of Matt/Foggy/Karen hanging out together though. Like the transition between episodes 6 and 7. We never really see the three meet up or Matt show concern for Foggy/Karen as to if they're okay or visa-versa.
A huge event occurs a couple episodes actually, but personally it was vague enough to not spoil what the results are of visiting Wilson's mother.
Well as far as he and the rest of the world's concerned, the man in the mask is able to pull off incredible feats as a vigilante and isn't blind. Given the shock of finding out Matt's secret life, asking if he's actually blind or if it's all been one giant cover is a fair line of reasoning.
Did it. Finished watching Daredevil and decided to give Silicon Valley a chance. Daredevil was probably my favorite Marvel tv show yet and I'm caught up on Silicon Valley, excited to watch how season 2 unfolds.
The tear at the end from Buck, was it from the humiliation of his shirt being distributed, or being touched by his dad liking the shirt? Or because he realized what he did was wrong?
It's eerily scary how quickly Sherlock was able to both deprogram and get information out of her. Admittedly, he could have just used his observational skills to spot that she was already going to leave, but if Sherlock was able to actually convince her to leave a cult…that's a huge deal and takes a lot of emotional…
The Mason return notches the grade up for me, even if there wasn't anything particularly special about his reappearance, I'll take a reappearance.
The composers are engaged? Congrats to them! May they keep making beautiful music together!
Wonder how Fitz is going to handle Coulson's alliance with Ward, and visa-versa. Fitz did try to suffocate him last time they saw each other.
It's been said The Wire was one of the influences on the creator/writer when making the show, right?
CBS did do a commercial montage of the times Sherlock woke up Watson right before this season began, selling it as a commercial for a Sherlock alarm clock.
Anybody who doesn't like the episode doesn't like boys and doesn't understand robots.
"You're awfully cute, and I really wanna play with you…" Rose Quartz people.
