Previous episode had 250, and the one before that had 380+ comments. I agree this episode was likely not as strong, but still. After fighting for the show to be reviewed again, it'd be a shame if the show just didn't have enough comments to keep it going for a third time.

Maybe I'm just looking at the threads too early and people haven't watched the episode yet, or maybe the daily SU threads are becoming overwhelming, but I feel like the number of comments are already lowering by the review. Big fear is this time next week there will be less than 100 comments in the thread.

Given how much Dipper loves and protects his sister, I can see him coming to terms really quickly with Stan doing what he did if it was all for his brother. As much as I liked the grappling hook callback, I enjoyed the rock that looks like a face callback much more.

Greg is probably right below Connie as my favorite fully human being on the show (Connie's number 1).

It would be nice if humankind actually did assist in defending their home world after all and not just be a prize between two alien groups.
