I never imagined there would be another scene where Sherlock wakes up Joan. That was a nice treat.

Kyle MacLachlan has done a great job filling the void left by Bill Paxton, one of the best things about season 1.

As fun as The Casebook for Sherlock Holmes would be to read, I would be much more interested in Kitty's book, and having it cover her time with Sherlock overseas.
Given her canon counterpart, there is a distinct possibility that is where the story will end up.
