Soos was really great. I was getting weary of how he was going to be used in the future, but this episode definitely eased some fears.
I want to mention something about the Gravity Falls Comic Con convention that shows just how much care is put into Gravity Falls and its fan base.

I really liked the interview Hirsch had with the AV Club. We got a lot of insight into season 1 and got hints at what to expect from season 2 storytelling wise.
Anybody else keeping up with Girl Meets World? Still think the show is finding its groove, but think it's on the right path. I'm hoping the show remembers that it can be silly too and not keep attempting a strong emotional beat every episode.

The new season at least is airing less than a year from the season 1 finale… by a technicality. The finale aired August 2nd.
It's gotta be hard trying to stay fresh. There's definitely episodes of Regular Show that just seem like they're going through the motions. But man, when Regular Show is on point it soars.

On Disney XD the second episode is going to premiere on Monday, and the third episode is going to premiere the week after. But then there's supposedly no more new episodes that will be appearing in August.
Unfortunately for Gravity Falls, yes.
