What is it with middle aged entertainers pretending to be precocious thirteen year olds?

Don't bother. It's just debilitating depression.

I enjoyed this episode a lot. The line of dialogue that gives the episode its title was maybe the most succinct summary of a subtheme of the show. It was nice not to have any Indian characters speak as if either he/she or Walt needed a semi-clever reminder of their ethnicity.

Aside from the waltz-the-baby-past-the-psycho scene, I thought this episode was one of the strongest so far. I could find other elements to nitpick (why the crystals?), but there was enough enjoyment and ambiance to keep me sincerely engaged.

Most of the enjoyment in this episode came from the interactions between the main cast and not the crime itself.

And God pre-empts his male pattern baldness in order to remake Himself as a Grant Morrison-esque quasi-celestial visitor on this dusty intergalactic pebble, just like me.

After that Dawes review, Hyden must feel like I did after I was six years old and visited my cousins in the Missouri Ozarks. I made the grave error of commenting at the big family picnic that I thought the salsa was rather tasty. For the next ten fucking years, I was apparently some kind of mythic salsa fucking

Wait until episode 9, "Stump Broke," when Waffles the Bear is revealed to be the Ferg's mysterious lover.

Enjoyed the Vic/Walt moment in the hospital…good gradual slow build, and the fact that Vic is under medication makes her little slip of possible attraction to Walt more believable.
