I don't have a lot to say about this episode (no complaints) but Isaac was in pain again. I don't like it. At least Daniel Sharman's body is perfect.
And, um, his acting was actually really good too. And then he disappeared halfway through the episode. Nice.

Colton is out of the credits. They added a few extra seconds of Holland Roden rather than make Daniel Sharman a regular. Given the fact that his life seems to be in danger twice in the promo, I'm not optimistic.

So… 14 year olds in Beacon Hills.

Yes, isn't it wonderful?

Nice to have this show back. And Isaac finally took some clothes off (although not enough if you ask me). Since he hasn't been made a regular I guess I'll be fearing for his life all season.

Are you alright?

But where's the fun in that?

I haven't watched this yet, but I just wanted to comment and say that I really hope regular coverage of this show continues. It's really a summer staple for me, surprisingly. I've come to enjoy the TV Club reviews of it and reading through the comments as well. It adds a lot to the experience of the show.

If you *enjoy* hate-watching it that's cool, since my post was directed at people who were upset by this. Two more years of wasting your time on something you don't like, congrats!

I realize I'm in the minority, but… I prefer the McKinley side this season and find this to maybe be the strongest season of the show since the first (although that may not be saying much). If seasons 5 and 6 are as strong as 4 I'm okay with this. There have been some clunkers (like last night's episode) but I'm happy.

Clever!

Chord Overstreet has always been a terrific actor and has only improved. Heather Morris was a surprise.

Upon rewatching the initial gunshot scene, there were only 2 shots fired. Seems like the other noise was a loud bang of some sort.

I don't agree that Becky's reason for having a gun had to do with her DS. If anything, it was simple fear about what's coming next after graduation. I don't see how you could interpret it as anything else. I thought that was actually handled pretty well, honestly.

This was bound to be a polarizing episode, and I can't be sure if it worked. But all the performances were terrific, I think. Even Heather Morris, who I usually find to be the absolute weakest link in every department that's not dancing, was really great.

I won't argue with the people who say it's too soon or unnecessary. But I feel like at the very least this was a mostly well-written, well-directed, and well-acted episode.

Oh and I really liked this episode. I'll be in the corner over here.

I think it's probably Heather Morris. I remember seeing an interview with her a couple of years ago saying that she'd give up acting in order to start a family, and now that she's pregnant I think that time has come.

Rumours of Jane leaving the show haven't even surfaced lately. I doubt they're letting Sue go, especially since I think she was in a prior preview for the next episode?

I won't try to change anyone's mind about the episode but… Can I say that Chord Overstreet and Becca Tobin gave some amazing performances?
