I don't know how the Office pilot actually sold the show. It's an unfortunate recreation of the British pilot, almost word for word. I do enjoy most of the rest of season one, though tonally it's incredibly different than what the show would become. Michael Scott in season 1 was a jerk. Michael Scott later evolved

The purple wedding will definitely be next season. I completely forgot how many crazy weddings happen in A Storm of Swords. I think the Purple Wedding kind of acts as a payoff for the tragedy of the Red Wedding. Finally something you WANT to happen to a character happens…and then of course Tyrion is blamed for it.

Anybody else waiting for a reveal with Lucille's prison number being 01134 (or HELLO upside down)?

Best cameo. Dan Harmon being a close second.

Hmm…I didn't catch any of those but I totally wouldn't put it past Hurwitz and the writers. I know this season essentially meant to serve as the first act leading up to the film, but I really wish the season finale tied everything together a bit more. God knows when we'll get the final payoff to all these threads.

So is the show undergoing a name change? Or are we implying that women are "half-men" now?

Agreed. And I'm surprised they didn't touch on the fact that at the end of season 3 George Michael and Maeby were still legally wed.

This was the grand prize in an HBO contest.  I ended up with first prize which was a 14" Iron Throne replica. I think I prefer my throne.

That definitely sounds like Netflix Canada.

I don't think "Dear Lord" is supposed to become a thing. It was clearly a callback to Michael burning himself on the Cornballer.

That's why I really want to do a marathon party. That way we'll all be watching at the same time and I don't have to worry about feeling left behind.

Also, where are we going next season? Is the show going to construct some reason to stay at Greendale or is there going to be a study room equivalent meet up place for shenanigans to happen? Are they all going to become teachers? Jeff majored in education? Did they all graduate or just some of them?

I'm so unsure of how to take this news. I'm happy for the cast, happy because of what came before but it's hard for me to accept that this show will probably never be the show I want it to be again. I will remain cautiously optimistic that the showrunners will learn from their mistakes and maybe feel less inclined to

Greg Garcia + Will Arnett eh?

Holy crap that pilot sounds amazing. I really think networks should run a series of failed pilots every year. I mean they've spent the money and filmed it, why not stick some commercials in it and air it instead of coming up with a new line of reality shows to air during the summer?

The only things I watch on NBC are Community and Hannibal. (Someday I'll catch up on Parks and Rec again.)

The Community Giveaways twitter that occasionally gives away signed Community scripts makes it sound like they will know if the show is renewed by today.

Damn. I scanned the comments earlier for this reference and didn't find it. That's my first post that's ever gone wrong.

Welcome to Jurassic Park, where nothing can possib-lie go wrong. Uh, possibLY go wrong. …That's the first thing that's ever gone wrong.

I hate Bud Lite but had a couple sips of someone's Bud Light Margarita and it was surprisingly not that bad. I'd much rather blend my own with mix and tequila but I expected to hate this and it was decent.
