I hate defending this episode, because I thought it was pretty bad, but even if Deb just arrested him, all the stuff LaGuerta had on her would of fucked her over

I took the final scene as a callback to Dexter watching his Mom murdered in front of him in a shipping container; it forever changed Dexter, and Deb's actions will forever change her

I agree. I think overall most MF episodes are pretty consistent. I don't think there are many episodes that are significantly better or worse. The jokes are almost always there, and the only problems that come up are usually plot related

I'm guessing the MF team gave her the time off to figure everything out. I don't think @CultureWarReporterEvan:disqus was implying she isn't allowed to work, just that he's looking forward to her return
