Agreed.  It looks so real that all you can think about is some dude dressed up as a hobbit on a soundstage.  Here's to disbelief.

A pathetic prosthetic penis was used in the Brown Bunny.  Watch the clip - it's on Netflix.  Gallo holds his hand on the base shielding the point of body contact throughout the scene.  The penis moves like rubber and has a strange color.

Agreed.  Mockingjay was passable, but uninspired.  Very disappointed to hear that the film will be severed in half a la Harry Potter/Twilight.

It's a very underrated movie.  Michael Caine is terrific.

No kidding.  By the end, you know the Human Project is fully impotent.

Rue was totally black in the books.  No surprises there.

Year of the Flood is better - IMO one of the best novels of the last few years.  That said, denying yourself the pleasures of Oryx and Crake is unnecessary.  Looking forward to part 3: MaddAddam.

BS.  I liked the Road (and yes, found it…harrowing) but it often felt like cheap horror with a facade of indulgent melodrama.  I'm tired of the world getting on its knees for Cormac McCarthy.  Oooo, he's so deep.
