I believe I watched "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" instead of that one, which was somewhat entertaining for a kid's movie.  I mean, it was basically YA cinema, which meant the plot was completely transparent from the get go.  Cage, however, was pretty entertaining, and much more restrained than usual.  He let Molina dine

Also worth checking out: the Steamboat Arabia museum and Boulevard Brewery.  And yes, Royals tickets are dirt cheap, compared to most baseball games.  The stadium was just remodeled a few years ago and is playing host to the All Star Game this year, which ought to make things interesting.

I think it makes sense in context, since these "prisoners" were all supposedly Nights Watch men.  Tywin wouldn't be quite so worried about enlisting them as he would some of the other prisoners, who are basically just serfs that have been rounded up and tortured.  The Nights Watch would have at least some standards

"ultra-low budget version of The Road Warrior"

Yeah, but from the description, it sounds more like Spielberg is running around with Joey Pants, Robert Davi, and Anne Ramsey shooting pickups with the second unit, while Donner is shooting all the kid stuff.  And the two main second unit guys, Cosgrove and Arnold, are an old 2nd unit team that's done a ton of stuff

Was he big before he did MARS ATTACKS?  I'm trying to think of when I first became aware of him, and I'm concluding that it was probably around the HIGH FIDELITY days.

It's hard to answer with a ball-gag in your mouth, D-C.

Would you have gotten the quote right, at least?

He gets an extra gear in one extended scene.  There's no cuts, and constant engine noise, right after he spins out on the turn.  As he starts back up, he's clearly in first, and you can count the shifts. They threw in an extra sound effect for a shift right before they cut to the next scene.

The head of Alfredo Garcia, of course.

That theory is provably untrue, just by taking part in a little experience I like to call "Transylvania 6-5000"

Dave Thomas was in Strange Brew, Dave Foley was on Newsradio.  Get your Canucks straight, dammit.
