Idk, it seems like he is definitely pushing a "black" perspective on a white audience, pushing the lines of what a white audience finds offensive and forcing them to laugh about things they generally feel uncomfortable about. It's not just the LGBTQ jokes, it's the jokes about rape and the soft stances about beating

That Michael Che special was surprisingly good though. These are solid, but I don't think his best work. Some of the bootleg YouTube videos of him the last few years have been riotously funny and these only capture part of that energy.

I'm a straight man and I find Aubrey Plaza always hot…but actually am more turned on by her as the psychiatrist.

Agreed…it was a hell of a way to go out though, I laughed so much during the build up. But damn he was a great character and I was just appreciating how he was coming around to being friends with Tandy and how well they worked against each other.

Another AV club crying wolf about sexism. His punchline on the catcalling video is that ***spoilers*** it's a miracle that a woman could walk in Harlem for 10 hours and not get her video camera stolen….and you notice in the video that the black women are cracking up over that joke. Try that 20 years ago…. As is his

I love his shows, but usually fast forward through his monologue….if he didn't laugh at his own jokes he would probably be funnier.

Ha! That would actually be the best possible case in favor of nepotism.

*Spoiler alert* (for a 5 year old show). There was the machine that could predict a series of events in order to arrive at a given conclusion. But yes, I agree and do like that there are more weird and Sci if elements in this show.

That's a good point, if the compliment wasn't for finding the room but for his overall suspicions being correct. But he was being an idiot with the map and absolutely annoying and following her around like a barking chihuahua. What I liked at the end is that the four of them seem like they will be a good team. It's

True, I actually like most of the dialogue from the ancillary characters, it's playful and weird and I agree it's tongue in cheek. But this episode I did find Dirk cloying and useless. The 'I'm beginning to think you're a good detective" did not seem that warranted and he seemed more concerned in this episode in

The adversary, in this show, could also be humans who want to control AI beings so that they don't reach their full potential.

Most people who have read the books hate it….but that's pretty typical. I think it's more like the Hitchhiker show and movie, not masterfully done, but fun to watch. It shows promise and reminds me of a less noxious Todd Margaret in the chaotic tone and setting up a puzzle of events.

I've read many people rail against the ending, but I don't get how it ruined the entire episode. It's pretty interesting for that all to have occurred in .04 seconds, even though it's not an "original" idea, it was a lot of fun to watch.

There's actually people trying to create these bees, thinking its a good idea. I read about it earlier this year.

I'm going pollen on this thread

Black Mirror is far beyond Outer Limits in execution. I like Outer Limits, a lot, but just the formulaic moral fortune cookie narrator always sets it back a little. Not to mention a lot of (probably intentional) cheesiness, which is part of its charm. And mediocre writing, which to me is lso part of its charm. With

Ended up binging it….but with breaks and a couple palette cleansers of Curb Your Enthusiasm thrown in. Worked pretty well and most of the episodes felt fresh.

I don't think it's the wrong way either…you are leaving your eternity up to a corporation….putting ultimate trust unto them. While the end is uplifting for the characters, one could think of this episode as one of the Animatrix episodes and could see how the technology could lead to the ultimate trap for human

Yes if you are the original A and B is the copy, then theoretically A would experience death, whatever that is. And B would go on "living" in the simulated world. Where that could have significance is if something happens to B, say the company gets taken over by an evil CEO and then say they get put into a machine

It's the combination of her dancing for the first time and with another girl, after being paralyzed for 40 years.
