first season had way less momentum than subsequent seasons; once you get to the first season's big reveal it'd become like a drug, one of those you-have-to-finish-the-most-recent-dexter-season binge things you'd face during one of those shitty weekends all your plans fell apart and/or you barely could afford rent.

but that was a movie! these two have fucked irl, and that's what makes it wrong. hell, that's what made this show wrong yrs ago

thing about a show like this is it's timely, and though it'll still be remembered as good television ten, twenty years from now, the subject matter may not be as relevant as it has been the last ten years; hopefully, these (currently fledgling) arab democracy movements will effectively kill radical militant islam (as

it would've been way more devastating for brody to do those jerks in at the end, but who knows what kind of shit he could pull in the long run? as opposed to showtime's previous terrorist thriller-diller, sleeper cell (a show to which i kept comparing homeland in my head) this show feels like it's in the hands of

i kind've got the impression he hated that shithead vp and his goons as much as he loved nazir. he probably still thinks of himself a patriot, and hell, he might significantly alter american foreign policy, at least in this alternate universe where such a thing may very well be possible.

what job? she's well-educated and has marketable skills, but she needs to get her shit together before her next job interview. i don't think she wants to live with her sister forever!

re: the mole thing, i think it's very possible somewhere along the line (in subsequent seasons perhaps?) saul gets coerced into helping the bad guys. having his (ex-?)wife moving back to india (you know, the country that neighbors the country where a lot of these terrorist dudes hide out) makes a very convenient TWIST

if there's an inside man (and all signs point to it) the vest could be hidden somewhere past metal detectors, though to be fair, brody probably wouldn't even know said inside man, and he probably wouldn't have taken the vest home if there was a mole to drop it by while brody's using the john or something. considering

i'm pretty sure carrie's sister would've been aware of the symptoms of multiple personality disorder. for a show that does a halfway decent job of sensitively portraying mental illness, i doubt they're just going to tack on whatever else they find on wikipedia to justify an outrageous endgame twist.

it's way more likely (as in almost completely certain) brody doesn't detonate, whether by bomb-malfunction or he consciously decides to follow the war-hero route ever further. if the former, expect some interesting interrogations; if the latter, he can justify side-stepping his soldierly duties to abu nazir later on

to be fair, galvez readily states he's half-lebanese, speaks arabic and point-blank admits he's muslim. and we haven't spent enough time with the character to interpret his motivations. but that also makes him less of a suspect! so it's possible.

i saw it in 2d, it looked fine if a bit low-res-y in a way thor did not. 3d i think is necessary 0% of the time, hell even toy story 3 at times became a frantic mess (~in my humble opinion~) with the 3d factored in, partly because there's so much happening w/ so many characters on a 50 ft tall screen that ugh fuck i'm

i always mix him up w/ the dude from svu. i still don't know which one of them was in cyborg 2.

please, no excuses

i find it funny daniel craig sports a british accent
when naomi watts and rachel weisz seem to be speaking american. actors who speak with non-american accents in hollywood productions tend to function like the aliens from the thing, desperately trying not to call attention to themselves unless it serves a plot point

but then you have movies like super 8, where i still don't know what it was about after seeing the damn film. and that movie made a bundle!
