Thanks!

Thanks!

Actually, I did take issue with this past season. While I do love Breaking Bad, I felt the latest season (the first half) was a bit of a misstep. It was enjoyable, but they were definitely pushing the plausibility meter to a point where it was becoming silly. However, Breaking Bad still has the character conflicts I

Great points.

Great points.

I feel like, people are really stretching to defend this show more than they normally would. Season 1 was so excellent, and I think we all wanted to believe this would be the next great show. The kind of show that sits nicely next to Breaking Bad, The Wire, Six Feet Under, The Sopranos etc. Hell, it even beat out

Eh, wasn't a great episode. But I didn't find myself thinking it was a trainwreck. TBH, I actually thought the last episode was much worse. I love Isaak, and that episode was a sloppy clusterfuck. At least this episode ended on a really satisfying conclusion. I really liked Dexter making accepting that he is in

Not going to argue that there isn't some unapologetic assholes. But generalizing all Libertarians as such, and dismissing the validity of their political beliefs is hypocritical  You are basically becoming an unapologetic asshole.

Oh, everyone on AV Club hates Libertarians? Surprise surprise. This site has the same audience crossover as Reddit.

Oh yes. Are we to believe that Jurg, a professional Ukrainian mobster, is dumb enough to leave his victim alone? I mean, what if she had grabbed a knife. She was chained to the floor, sure. But she had some walking room. Could have grabbed anything and hid it. That whole scene was just comical. When she said the

I did. Had a brain slip/fart/twitch/collapse.

Good points. I agree with you about the show working better when it's about the CIA operations, and staying more grounded. I didn't love this episode, but I suppose that's more to do with my overall gripes about this season, and not being completely drawn into the overall plot.
