I think ultimately you are right, I was more willing to be okay with it being implausible last season, because of what the show was saying. What it was doing with the characters. And again for me, the show just was much better at stylistically playing it off.

His acting kind of makes me laugh. No offense, I appreciate the effort. He really does try hard. But the big emotional moments from him always come off… unintentionally funny.

Well, going to just say it - but I think this season has been pretty off compared to 1. Just feels more over the top and implausible. I know most of you disagreed with me about Brody being able to get into the raid briefing of Abu Nazir and text him just in time.

Dana plot is really terrible this season.

Well said man. No excuse for this show.

I actually kind of figured that was the direction they were going to go. What else can they do? Brody doesn't know enough information. But he can keep working with them and hand the CIA information on how to get Nazir.

I can agree with this. Last season had a lot of big moments throughout the season as well.  I guess I just feel like, so much has been built up on Brody (literally, we didn't know he was bad until the back half of the season), that it feels ridiculous that they are moving at such a quick speed to take his story down.

Good point. I'm just not sure I'm entirely sold on it. But you are right.

I know I shouldn't worry about the writing this season. Yet, I still feel very uneasy about how quick things are moving. First it was Brody being discovered so early on. Then in the next episode he's caught!

WHAT THE FUCK!?
