Meh, as an ABC I'm not so offended. The actors try hard to get the pronunciation correct and the Mandarin dialogue is a bit stilted, but it's not bad. Additionally, they do a good job of blending Chinese culture into a sitcom palatable for American audiences.

I've been with the show since the beginning, and I'm shocked by how much it has grown. Season 3 is an absolute masterpiece, and I respect the creators for taking to heart criticisms of season 1 instead of getting defensive.

I felt like it was the opposite. She has moved on and no longer cares enough about him to be angry or bitter, like she was before. Now it's a polite and cold detachment, although they still have crazy chemistry together.

Based on standard ratings metrics HACF should have never been renewed for season 2 or 3. But the combo of AMC producing it, the critical prestige for a small channel, and the small but wealthy/passionate viewership has kept it alive so far. It's a total wash if the show gets a season 4
