Wrong read.

Please don't give them any ideas.

I resolve to stop expecting the AV Club to drop their gimmicks and pull out of their tailspin.

Clay who?

You got me. I envy American Idol. I always wanted to grown up to be a hit television show but when it didn't happen I grew jealous of the show.

Marissa Mayer is incompetent.

She was great (and looked great) in a number of movies but also tended to make the same trashy movie over and over again. And then - in Hollywood terms - made the mistake of getting old. Plus she's a little nuts.

Even though it is a shell of its former self The AV Club is provocative to the end.

Hmm…bomb hard…bomb hard….Bomb Hard! Get me Bruce Willis' agent!

Remaking the remakes.

I like her face.

So is this all of them then?

Actually they were over by 1986. Confirmed by the screenshot.

Where are the half-shirts?

Inessential.

In today's world, whatever gets reported on the most.

Did Noel Murray pick that article himself because that is one of his weaker efforts and he is (was) generally one of the stronger writers on the AV Club.

The only people who use the phrases "peak tv" or "golden age of television" unironically are freelancers trying to justify their gigs.

A great Groucho one liner that doesn't make a lick of sense when you think it through but is great nonetheless is, "Either this man is dead or my watch has stopped."

And somehow make it worse.
